"Seeing Ahead" --by L's Army

If you had the choice of knowing what was in the future, would you want to?

Do you think things like fate and destiny are set in stone, or can they be changed?

I think people who do not want to know what their future holds are just fooling themselves. Who wouldn't want to know when "her day" will come?

If I learned that I would bite the dust in the year 2090, I may not necessarily change anything I am doing now. However if the Death Fairy came and knocked on my door, left me my death scroll and told me I was going to push up daisies in 2010, you better believe I would do things differently.

Does this make me hypocritical? Should't I be living if I were to go tomorrow? Sure, but that isn't reality.

If I was to know what was going to happen tomarrow today then there would be no suspense in my life. I don't exactly want that to happen. I like being able to guess at what is going to happen next. Like Geisty say's about a book: If you can predict the ending then it's boring and you don't want to finish it.

About living today like you were dying well I think that you can only do that in your mind

I think that if the Asians keep building robots, OUR future will turn into something really bad.

If I was gonna learn what was gonna happen in the future I don't think I would like to know. What would life be without surprises every now and then? If I knew what going to happen then life would boring and dull. I don't think things like destiny and fate are set in stone. If something was suppose to happen so be it. It's gonna happen no matter I want and if I could change I wouldn't. It could help in some way.

There are little things that i might want to seek into the future to see. Maybe to find out how a date would go or find out what my next pay check will be. Jubilee doesn't pay me nearly enough money to get by. I don't know. Alot of things are going on in life right now. My brother keeps telling me to tackle one thing at a time. It seems everytime i do that, another few things manage to get passed the barrier and into my life...

i'm not quite sure if i would want to know, because it would be kinda scary. I would choose not to know because, if you know what your future is going to be, then it take the fun out of life. You wouldn't really have any suprises left in life, and I don't think that it would be fun to be going through life know what was going to happen. I think that destiny and fate can be changed. I think that you have control of what you will end up with your life. But i like to just go with the flow of things, and just when things come my way i deal with it the best i can. i think that's about it......

I don't believe i would want to see in the future if given the chance. I think seeing in th efuture (although very cool) is overall defeating the purpose of life. If we can see into the future everything we are going to do then why even bother living our present lives?! I believe not knowing about what is going to happen leads to more excitement and curiosity about the world. Living is natural and if we know what we are going to do in the future then maybe the course of our lives would be changed around that< for instance we may invision something terrible happening in our furture, live our lives trying to prevent something from happening and because of our worry about it happening, it would happen. Everyday should be lived as if it were our last, only that way can we accomplish all that we want in our lifetime.

I really wouldn't want to know when I am to die. Unless it will happen suddenly such as in an accedient while i'm still a youngster. This way i could plan for it and do some crazy stuff first.

Who honestly even cares about the future? The future is useless and no one even cares about it, hopefully the world blows up.

I don't believe in fate. I don't like the idea of not being in control of my own life. I just hope that machines don't become too advanced out of our control.

Yea I wouldnt wanna know the future. It takes all the fun outa life. If you already know what is going to happen then why bother it takes the suspense. The only thing certain about the future is uncertainty.

nah, i wouldnt want to see the future, i want things to just happen and have life to be a surprise...that would be no fun at all if u knew what the future was going to hold.

It is impossible to see the future. But if you could I wouldn't want to. Cause if you think about it the future is completely changeable. If it's set in stone then If i see myself being alive in 10 years that means I am literally invincible until that 10 years have passed. Since I would have to stay alive for the future to be set in stone.

I really wouldnt want to know what the future holds for me. Like what if i die tommorow i'd probably kill myself today just cuz i know its coming. Seeing the future could possibly happen with the technology being made today.

i would love to go into the future and see what i will become and if i wasn't in a place in life i want to be in in the future then when i came back to present time i would do things different to make sure that i would eventually get it right and make something of myself.

i wouldnt want to know what the future holds. you may look at it and it might not be what you expected. then you spend your whole life living up to what you know about your future. itll just get boring i think. not taking any risks or making the wrong decision because you already know what your decisions will be. i dont take to much time thinking about fate or destiny. maybe because i dont really believe in it. i just take things as they come. no thinking of the future for me.

I wouldn't want to be able to know what is going to happen in the future and no I do not think fate or destiny are set in stone and yes I think they can be changed.

I think life is meant to be a mystery, that is why i wouldn't want to know my future. Life would be so boring if you did and you would also have a serious potential to mess stuff up if you did know your future.

paigeisgod said...

i think you make everything happen.
and no i wouldnt want to know because when you tried to change it you would just make it worse.

i would like to kno sum things that r gonna happen to me in my life but i would not want to know everything .. there are some things that are better if you wait for them to happen so you have some suspense in your life

I wouldn't want to know what happens in the future life is scary as it is I wouldn't want to know when Im going to die or who's going to hurt me! Id rather just live in the moment. That's a hard question to answer yes I do believe in destiny and fate but not sure on the whole set in stone or can it be changed part.

If i had the opportunity to know what's in store for me in the future, i would definately take advantage of that.
but i do think that things just happen for a reason.
