So it's less than five months away until we are out of here....forever. I am sure we have all dreamed about that summer where either you can't wait to go have fun and party it up at college, or can't wait to never have to look forward to another "first-day-of-school". Almost all of us have been classmates since kindergarten. We have all gained and lost friends, but in the end we all really have to admit that we'll miss it. As much as we hate the nagging teachers, we are going to wish we had them in college.
So my question to all of you is, what exactly are ya going to miss about all of this? And what can't you wait to get away from?

What am i gonna miss at school? My friends. Most of them are younger then me. It makes me sad that I’ll be leaving them and heading off to the big fish school they call collage.
What I can't wait to get away from.... Home. I cannot wait to leave the nest -.- Its like going camping in a way but only I've been camping with these people and animals for 17 years of my life.
Yup... I'll miss almost every one here in my graduating class.
Last year, I couldn't stand the thought of leaving school, so I have the current establishment for nudging me from the nest. It seems like we've been here forever, doesn't it?
I'll miss it all in the way an animal doesn't want to leave its cramped cage after spending most of its life there. Mostly, I miss the Gowanda of last year--the teachers were considerably more pleasant, we had a competent principal, I hadn't been kicked out of model office for reasons unknown, and it looked to be a great senior year ahead. Since all that changed, I've gotten steadily more bitter--hopefully that will change with college. Being jaded is tiring.
More than anything, I miss the days when the GSA was thriving (thank you, Ms. Fantaske, for shutting it down. I'm glad I didn't go off into the world thinking we were something other than a bunch of little faggots to you. Hope you're reading this.)

ugh im going cry on the last day for sure. we all complain and mock gowanda. "oh its gowanda whats so great about it", everyone does it. honestly im going to miss this place, im going to miss most of the people in my senior class and many of the under classmen. my mom says that she doesnt talk to anyone from her senior class. i dont want that to happen at all. but on the opther hand i cant wait to go off to college to meet other people.
This is a good post-I was sick of people talking only about getting out of Gowanda-but this is brigning out the inside of people, and how they really feel. How do i feel?...I'll miss Gowanda...sure, I'll be back during breaks and visiting, so I guess i wont truly miss it-but Gowanda is where i grew up my whole life, Gowanda is where I learned everything I know, Gowanda is where I met almost every friend I have. If this is the same for most the people in our grade, tell me what is so bad about it???

i think the thing im going to miss most after graduation is my friends.Most of them who i have known for a very long time.So it will be hard to say goodbye.Cause the chances of u still talking them years from now are small.I guess that part of growing up.But i also want to get away and be on my own.but thats all part of graduating.i guess.but leaving everyone behind will suck the most.
I always say how I can't wait to get out of this school and get away from Gowanda, but really I am going to miss it like crazy and im definitely going to be balling my eyes out on the last day of school. I cant believe its almost time to graduate. But im going to miss most of all everyone in our class, and all my friends, we've known each other forever basically...and have a lot of memories. I'm going to miss the insane but good teachers that we have. Mostly, just everyone I'm going to miss...its sad to think about, but im still excited for graduation =]
What I am going to miss at gowanda high school... Is this a trick question? Of course Imma miss all my fellow seinors. and most of all you Geist. Imma miss all the teachers helping me get enough credits to even graduate. Imma miss everything about the school exept waking up at 5 in da morning and the lunches... yep .... i can live without those two things.

i think the thing i will miss most is the "security blanket" gowanda offers to us. our school is small enough where we know almost everybody here and how they are, we know who to avoid and who to make partners with in gym. we know and love a lot of the teachers and we come into school in september with pretty much everything planned out for us. but now when we go to college the schools will be bigger and we will have to learn about everybody and our surroundings all over again. we also have the choice to decide what classes we have when we have thoses classes and if we feel like even going to them, this is a great freedom but i can see a lot of peple from gowanda going nuts with this new freedom and making some bad choices. but really i can't wait to start a new chapter and i'm really excited for this year to end.
i can't wait to get away from the inconsiderate little ******* in this school. but i really am gonna miss my friends that i am going to be loosing but stuff happens but i will go to see them.
Im gonna miss seeing my friends as much as i do now after i graduate. Im gonna miss some of the teachers, and also im gonna miss the sports games. What i cant wait to get away from is the waking up at six and and the little annoying kids at school.
I gonna miss my friends i made at gowanda.Sure ill see some of them but by the end of the summer before i go to college i wont see mostly anyone unless our colleges are close or we to the same colleges.Just to think we're all going our different ways for ourselves,and i bet most of us wont be around or going off to far off places.It gonna be hard leaving but i know that leaving would be good to grow more. i can't wait to leave and see what happens when i'm gone. See if my sibling actually grow up and rely on themselves.
The thing that I will miss the most after graduation would be my friends. I probably won't get much of a chance to talk to them after graduation. The thing I can't wait to get away from is having to get up so early in the morning.
Well i am outtie as soon as school gets over, the week after i'm moving. but i'm gonna be back for my friends' grad parties and powwows. but not sure wat i'm gonna miss really. but i kno i'm gonna miss seeing my friends and hanging out w/ them in classes and in the hallway. but i am for sure not gonna miss these classes, the "drama", and the school itself. i dont know about all of you guys, but i can't wait to get out of here totally! and move!
What im going to miss is everyone in our graduating class. Im hopeing to keep in touch with most of them like my really good friends. i plan on not going to college right away and living with one of my best friends.I'll miss most of my teachers too because they were the best,i've made pretty good friends with a few of them soo ill miss them but try to talk to them as much as i can after. I cant wait to get away from schooling in general.getting up early,sitting thru long boring classes,and iss or extension.
I can't wait to leave this freakin' Hellhole. For years I've been tormented be the @$$holes here, and when I leave, it will be paradise.

when im outta here im mostly gunna miss my friends. its sad just leaving everybody and as soon as you start up college you start to loose touch with every person. i cant wait for college though. i already have my major picked out and i can obtain my bachelors degree within 2 years for it. i know im gunna see some people but not seeing my entire class of 2008 everyday is gunna be a downer. im looking forward to the next step in my life and succeeding in everything i do so i guess everything will work out
i will miss everyone but at the same time i need to get away from them. in college yor arent forced to be with the same people for years, and there are quite a few people i need to get away from.
I would deff. miss my friends, and playing sports. I love hanging out before the games with my team mates. Playing sports with my friends just makes us even closer. I can't wait to get away from the school in general. some bad teachers, some bad friends, just want to get away from it all and make something of myself.
i thing that im going to miss the most is walking around in the halls and walking in to class and causing a ruckes i will also miss mrs. Moritz. she will always be my favorite her and ms. Geist that is the greatest teacher in the world but i cant wait to get away from the nagging teachers and dr. anderson
the thing i'll miss most is my friends of course. i always want to talk to them years from now and keep in touch and whatever. but in college i'll make lots more friends also. what i won't miss is getting up early for school five days a week and i won't miss the nagging teachers and having people tell us what to do.
you know what school is a big pain in the butt for all of us! but the truth is i think that all of us are truly going to miss this place and for real because once you go out into the real world things change for good.people change and we change! more responsibilitys that most of us right now can't even dream about haveing. in some ways more then others i would like to just keep it this way. not to have to move out and take care of myself and just live at home and not worrie about anything. going to high school you have friends that you see and hang out with after achool. well when we all move on there isn't going to be this great big group of pople we all know and love it's all going to be gone. we all have to start off new again with new people and new teachers (if your going to collage) so for the most of us we are looking forward to leaveing when we in return are jut putting ourselfs into a more stressfull situation. i'm ready to leave i guess i'm ready for the change but i part of me really dosn't want to leave. Not just yet.

The thing I'm going to miss the most is definately my friends. Thank god me and my bff are going to the same college, that will at least make that a little easier when I feel like I have no one. I really hope I keep in touch with a lot of my friends because I will miss you guys so much! I'm really going to miss all the fun times I've had with my friends but I guess there will be more of that to come in college with new people.

What will i miss most? definatly my friends. I def want to stay close with them in collage. I dont see why everyone says you most likely will never talk to your friends again after high school, cause if your close with them and they mean something to you college is not going to 'tear' your friendship apart. i guess ppl that think that just dont have the type of friends i do. I will also miss all the sport games and dances. High school was def a memorable time for me and i wouldnt change anything about it. I am def going to be crying on the last day of school and graduation cause it is really sad leaving a place you known pretty much all of your life.
What i wont miss? Thats easy! I will NOT miss any of the drama! but in a way i guess it was good to have it for awhile cause you can find out who your true friends are. Also i def wont miss gettng up super early in the morning and sitting through alot of boring classes.

its going to be really sad to leave high school im probably going to cry a lot at graduation then of coarse pry go to a grad party that hopefully someone will have and have some fun with my friends. sure im going to miss it here a lot but everyone has to leae high school sometime im sure the people i want to see i will still see after high school.
Ms. Geist's comment about most of us going to kindergarten together does hit home, though. Dear God, how things have changed. We were all pretty cute, as I recall.

What I will miss the most..... probably being with my friends at 7:30 in the morning. On grad day I probably just shake hands with my friends and not say goodbye. My family lives here and so I will be here too on breaks and stuff. Yet on the contrarry I won't miss the little high school drama. Man 3 and a half years of that and I'm done! But most of all I will miss my friends, the school no friends yes.
Im going to miss all my firends. Hangin out after school, goin to the pits! SUNNYS!!! Baseball games....softball games...LAX games...ALL THE GAMES! Im gunna miss all the teachers! HmMmMm I cant wait to get away from the drama that goes on in this small town. Everyone knows everything about everyone else. Its annoying. I mean you'll always have drama, but not this much. I LOVE GOWANDA HIGH SCHOOL! I'm going to miss it dearly :)
